I've been reading a few (OK, more than a few) blogs lately. I know, I know, I'm sure it's not a big surprise.
I find I've become really fond of blogging. I mean, come on, is there a more narcissistic hobby than writing about your own life and having other people read it?
I keep hoping to happen upon some blogs like mine. Parent's of preemies anyone? Older parents? June Cleaver meets Randi Rhoades?? Maybe Roseanne serving up veggie tofu stir-fry instead of loose meat sandwiches. Maybe a 4-wheeling preemie group?
There are so many people out there, writing about themselves, their families and their lives. Over the years, I've found the Internet is a great way to make connections with people. I met my husband on the Internet. I've met quite a number of my good friends on the Internet. I've found lost friends on the Internet. Everyone has a story, and most of those story's are interesting.
When I find a blog I like, I will explore that person's blog-roll for other blogs that I like. Some, I just skip through, some I read in depth, but each one is an extension of some person out in this world I don't know. I wonder just how many blogs do you have to go through to find your way back to your own blog?
I'll admit it, I'm quite nosy. I search things out when I don't know the answer. I will get on the Internet and search for hours looking for an answer to this or that. If I don't know how to spell a word, do you think I pick up my dictionary???
NOooooooo....I go onto www.dictionary.com and find what I need to know.
I love www.google.com Most of life's answers can be found on Google. So where does this leave me? Still very curious about who is out there. So I want to try an experiment.
Who are you??? What is your story?
I want to know who is reading my blog. I see spots from all over the country, from all over the world and I have no idea who you are. So I'm asking you to tell me...who are you? If you feel like giving it a whirl, that's great. If you aren't comfortable, that is cool too, but I really want to know who is out there reading my little piece of blogosphere.
