It finally reached the 90's here today, so after the kids had a nap, I got them dressed in their swim suits and turned on the sprinklers. They had a blast, and the neighbor boy came over and played with Brian.
While they were doing that, Rick and I worked in the garden for a while, it was just so nice out today.
Nothing much new going on here today. I did work in the trailer for a few hours to start getting it ready for our trip. I can't believe that it is only 2 weeks away at this point. I stocked up on all kinds of stuff for the camper today, sunscreen, bug spray with and without DEET, I hate the DEET stuff, but I'm a little leary of the skeeters in parts of the country I've never been. I've got all kinds of non toxic stuff, and will only use the nastay stuff on last resort. Wish us luck.
I got some great plastic dinner wear at Wal*Mart on clearance. Go figure, the first day of summer and all the summer stuff is going bye bye. Next thing you know they will have the winter coats and snow boots out. I also got a huge new tomato plant on clearance at Walmart. When I got home, I took it out of my car and stuck it by my garage door so that I could grab it next time I went down there. Well, looks like a deer beat me to it. When I came back by the garage after working in the trailer, I scared the deer silly and the tomato plant was on it's side, I caught the bugger trying to make off with my plant.
I took a few pictures of the kids in their swim suits today. Rhoda, the suit Leslie has on is the one you got her for her birthday.
