Someone stole my kid!
Seriously dude, what happened to Leslie????
She has turned from a spitfire to a child that is completely wild.
Everything about her screams at me, "I do it myself mama"! If I pick out one outfit, she wants another outfit. I pick out the Dora shoes, she wants the Princess shoes. If I'm talking to Rick, she yells at him while trying to get my attention "I'm talking to my mommmmma!!!!"
Took her to Walmart this weekend, and had to take her outside for approximately 10 minutes to let her cry before I could even hope to get her in the cart. I don't dare let her walk, since she would take off and never come back, and with my bum knee, that's not good.
She spent the weekend running around in her brothers Spidey costume, with her blond curls flying out the back. I'm seriously worried I have more on my hands than I can handle.
This child of mine has innate the ability to concentrate for long periods of time. She is smart as a whip, and the most determined child I've ever met. She is constantly doing things that amaze me completely.
Sometimes I just look at Rick and say in a stunned voice...."Brian never did that".....and he will simply shake his head at me.
She also has decided that she will only eat what SHE wants, after being my "good" eater all this time. She loves broccoli and will stuff it in her mouth faster than she can chew it.
So, what I want to know is "where is my daughter and when will they bring her back and take this strange child away????"
Your daughter would be a good match for my granddaughter in the "do it myself" program. My granddaughter is much less likely to eat broccoli, however, she's so much more into anything chocolate or sugar laden.

Hey there. I know how you feel... What happened to them? My Gracie is just like that. It always has to be her way to the point, as you can tell from my blog, I have let her have her way too much due to my just being tired of fighting it. I figure I have until 4 years old. Maybe by then she will have outgrown the wild child, do it all my own, I only want the opposite of what you give me phase. Good Luck. If you find out the answer please let me know.
