I'm frustrated. I have spent the night trying to get video's I took off my snappy little tapeless video camera. I can't do it. I can't figure it out. The movies are there, but I can't get them off. The USB cord only downloads photo's. The movies are on the memory card. So I went and bought a card reader. Still can't see the movies.
I went to the company's website, and I'm wondering now if this little camera is not compatible with my mac. I've never found anything that wasn't compatible, but I can't seem to make this work. When I plug it in, it is like a 2nd hard drive, but there are no movie files on it. When I look at the movies on the camera, they are all there. So I thought for sure I would be able to get them off the card with a card reader. I even took the card out, turned the camera back on, just to make sure that they were on the card, which they were.
So I'm stuck. I know with my video camera, I had to get a special cable, but I don't think that is the case with this camera...
So if anyone has any idea's, I'd love to hear them.
Just for reference, I have a Macbook with OS X.5.2 and the camera is this one.
I hate to say it, but it looks like you got a Mac un-friendly camera.
