My friend Melissa and I drove over to Missoula yesterday to do some major shopping.
I just turned around, and realized that Leslie had outgrown almost all of her clothes. She is no longer able to fit in 24 month clothes, or 2T, she needs 3T’s and 4T’s, and Brian is all the sudden to long for all his jeans...anyway, I’m digressing here.
So we got an early start, and headed over the mountains to Missoula. We went to TJ Maxx, Ross, Old Navy, Party America and Best Buy to visit my new Mac Book
.
It was really a fun day, and we both left our kids and husbands home and just had a girl day. We had a good lunch at Famous Dave’s BBQ, and hit a “candy sale” at JC Penny’s. Basically you got to pick a candy bar out of a box and then each candy bar had either 10%, 15%, or 20% off purchase. I ended up with a 15% which we were both able to use. I bought a bunch of clothes for all of us there, and they were all on sale, then in addition to the sale, we both got the additional 15% off.
We then went through the rest of the mall, and I got another bunch of clothes at “The Childrens Place”, I got some really cute sun glasses for the kids at Gymboree, and it a nice sale at Herbergers on Lancome make-up, complete with a free “gift with purchase”, don’t you love free gift’s with purchase.
I also stopped at the candy store and got the kids each a big lollipop, which I let them have today. I got some picutures of them that are really cute. Brian and Leslie must have thanked me a million times for the clothes, which is really cute.
We made it home just before 7pm, and got back over MacDonald Pass with no snow...
