I've never done this before, but here goes. I think the thing I have done best this week is make this vacation all about the kids. I have gotten my 44 year old behind in pools from MT to IL, taken my kids to do things that were totally fun, documented it all for prosperity, and wonder of wonders, I took them to Chuck E. Cheeses. I think this is the first vacation they will actually remember, and they are having the time of their lives...and that makes me so inexplicably happy.
